David Wood OBE is undisputedly the country’s leading writer and director of plays and musicals for children. His many successes include The Gingerbread Man, The Witches and Babe the Sheep Pig.

On The Tiger Who Came to Tea, David Wood said he is 'thrilled to turn this quirky, heart-warming story into a play, and even more thrilled to meet and discuss my ideas with Judith Kerr, for whom I have tremendous respect and admiration.
