Woodgate Valley Country Park - Woodgate Valley Country Park is a 450 acre area of countryside in the centre of Bartley Green and Quinton. There are many mixed, mature hedgerows, meadows, woodland, and small ponds. The Bournbrook runs through the park. The park is used for leisure activities such as walking and wildlife spotting, and it's home to the Hole Farm Trekking Centre, delivering short pony treks through the park, and an Urban Farm. 

Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Glasshouses - The gardens cover 15 acres. The Tropical House has a lily pool and lush tropical vegetation. Palms, tree ferns and orchids are displayed in the Sub-tropical House. These historic Gardens offer a fascinating plant collection and excellent facilities for all the family to enjoy. Four stunning glasshouses filled with exotic plants take you from tropical rainforest to arid desert.
